Ben Pierce's career as a journalist, photographer and designer has exposed him to a variety of people and places from the mountain streams of Montana to the rainforests of Fiordland, New Zealand. He has composed communications packages on topics ranging from water rights and hunter access to spiritual renewal and international travel - from profiles of world-class athletes to the spread of West Nile virus across the American West.

Ben's stories and photographs have been published in numerous national and regional publications including the San Francisco Chronicle, Boston Globe, Salt Lake Tribune, Fish & Fly for the Adventure Angler, Sports Afield and Montana Quarterly. His stories appear each week in the OutThere section of the Bozeman Daily Chronicle in Bozeman, Mont.

In addition to his printed work, Ben's multimedia presentations have appeared on a variety of Web sites. Ben maintains a photography Web site, BenPiercePhoto.com, that showcases his work in Montana and abroad. He also operates The Montana 360 Project, a site featuring 360-degree virtual reality photography from across the state of Montana.

Ben also works with Montana State University's Extended Studies Program, teaching Adobe Photoshop to aspiring professional and members of the business community. He will instruct the Adobe Photoshop Advanced, Color Printing and Web Design courses for MSU's Extended University during the Spring 2010 semester.
